Cam Ranh lobster festival 2024 to take place in early August

Cam Ranh City People's Committee has recently issued the organization plan for Cam Ranh lobster festival 2024.

This is an opportunity to promote lobster products and create cooperation among farmers, government, scientists, and businesses". Through the festival, the City People's Committee will provide information about orientations for developing farming areas according to planning and tracing the origin of breeds and farming areas; transfer and demonstrate new technologies, limit environmental pollution in lobster farming in Cam Ranh. The festival will be an opportunity to connect trade to find outlets for products; promote domestic seafood consumption and export to international markets; promote tourism through unique and attractive activities of the festival.

Cam Ranh lobster festival 2024 comprises of 3 main series of activities and 7 other activities, expected to take place within the first 3 days of August 2024.

Cam Ranh is considered the lobster center in Vietnam. Especially the lobsters raised in the waters of Binh Ba (Cam Binh Commune) are famous for their deliciousness. It is estimated that the city has tens of thousands of lobster cages, with 7,000 of them located in Cam Binh Commune and producing around 250 tons.
