Khanh Vinh District actively calling for investment

In recent years, Khanh Vinh district has actively covered the planning, completed the infrastructure, created a legal corridor for attracting and calling for investment, aiming to become a "mountainous ecological sub-urban area" according to the orientation of Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Constructing infrastructure

With its available potential and advantages, Khanh Vinh is oriented to become a mountainous ecological sub-urban area, where people have a stable, peaceful and happy standard of living; the Party organization and political system are clean, strong and comprehensive; national defense and security are firmly ensured. The urban system of the district will develop according to the model of ecological mountain forest sub-urban areas, prioritizing the development and construction of urban areas with high ecological green density, friendly to nature, taking advantage of the climate conditions and typical forest system. According to the orientation, there will be 5 ecological mountain forest sub-urban areas in the district including: Song Cau urban area, Son Thai - Lien Sang urban area, Khanh Thuong urban area, Khanh Trung urban area and Khanh Hiep urban area.

To concretize the goals of Resolution No. 09, the district is implementing a number of national and provincial key projects such as: Investment component project for the construction of the Van Phong - Nha Trang section of the North - South expressway construction project, phase 2021 - 2025; the traffic road project from National Highway 27C to Provincial Road DT.656 of Khanh Hoa Province, connecting Lam Dong Province and Ninh Thuan Province; connecting inter-provincial and inter-regional traffic, creating new development momentum for the locality. The district also focuses all resources, maximally attracting and effectively using development investment resources, especially the complete construction of a synchronous traffic system, implementing the construction and completion of Hoang Quoc Viet Bridge Project to help develop and expand the space of Khanh Vinh town to the east, creating a road axis connecting the town's administrative center with the new urban area east of Khe River, creating favorable conditions for traffic and creating momentum for socio-economic development. Along with that, Song Cau Industrial Cluster has been fully invested in infrastructure and has officially come into operation.

According to Van Ngoc Huong - Chairman of Khanh Vinh District People's Committee, implementing the objectives and tasks according to Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo; Resolution of the 19th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, in recent years, the district has paid great attention to promoting and calling for investment in non-budget investment projects in the district. The District People's Committee always creates the most favorable conditions for businesses and investors to survey and seek investment opportunities in the area; at the same time, directs specialized agencies and localities to provide necessary information such as: Land use planning, construction planning in the area for investors and businesses to study and implement projects; promptly adjust and supplement necessary planning in accordance with the provincial planning to serve as an orientation for calling for investment.

To call for and promote investment, in January, the District People's Committee organized a program to promote and advertise community tourism associated with preserving and promoting the identity of ethnic minorities in Khanh Vinh district. The district also promoted communication on tourism development in general and community tourism in particular to introduce and promote destinations, tourism products and services in the chain of community tourism development in the district to investors, travel businesses in and outside the province; businesses, tourism service business households in the district, authorities and people participating in the chain. Thereby, promoting linkage and cooperation in developing community tourism in the area; preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities associated with developing community tourism in the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 in the district; diversifying types of promotion and advertising of community tourism to attract investors and tourists, contributing to boosting tourism activities in the district.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the district has 2 projects granted new investment certificates, namely Khanh Binh high-tech livestock project and Dai Thang Song Cau wood chip processing project at Song Cau Industrial Park, with a total registered investment capital of 278 billion VND; there are 3 projects with investors proposing and carrying out investment registration procedures.

The district is effectively implementing planning work, in particular, implementing with quality and ensuring the progress of the tasks of establishing all types of planning, especially regional construction planning, land use planning, urban planning, communal planning, detailed planning of rural and urban residential areas, in accordance with Resolution No. 09 to adjust space reasonably, associated with promoting the potential and strengths of each region and locality, ensuring the development of the district as a small ecological urban area of ​​mountains and forests and creating a legal corridor for attracting and calling for investment in projects in the district.
