In the context of economic fluctuations and difficulties in attracting investment, the Management Board of Song Cau Industrial Cluster has provided maximum support to enterprises to put secondary projects into operation soon, filling up the industrial cluster as soon as possible.

Creating favorable conditions for investors

Song Cau Industrial Cluster (Khanh Vinh District) was inaugurated in 2020 with a scale of 40.36 hectares. Of which, the land area for lease is nearly 28 hectares, divided into 27 lots with many convenient services. Currently, the infrastructure of Song Cau Industrial Cluster is basically complete and meets the standards and the requirements of secondary investors in the fields of food processing, agricultural and forestry products, garment, production of fine art wood for export, mechanical engineering industry...

In early 2023, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Beverage Joint Stock Company built phase 1 of the project Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Raw Material Processing Factory. The factory has created jobs for about 300 workers. The company is implementing legal procedures to build phase 2 of the project Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Premium Beverage Factory and is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2024.

According to the assessment of Song Cau Industrial Cluster Management Board, the occupancy rate of Song Cau Industrial Cluster has not been as expected. Therefore, at the beginning of 2024, the management board has strengthened many solutions to increase the occupancy rate of the industrial cluster. On July 16, Song Cau Industrial Cluster Management Board held a meeting and handed land lease contracts to 4 secondary investors with a total leased land area of nearly 8 hectares. Thereby, increasing the total filled area of Song Cau Industrial Cluster to more than 13.5 hectares/28 hectares of leased land, reaching an occupancy rate of nearly 50%. The Management Board has accompanied and supported investors in implementing legal procedures to apply for investment projects. Three out of the four enterprises that have just leased land have so far been granted investment registration certificates and are in the process of applying for project construction permits. It is expected that all four projects will begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Since the beginning of 2024, Song Cau Industrial Cluster has welcomed more than 20 domestic and foreign investors to survey and learn about investment information in agriculture, forestry, food, logistics, mechanics, pharmaceuticals, animal feed, machinery assembly industry, garment, electric vehicle manufacturing, plastic recycling

In order to facilitate businesses in finding human resources, recently, the Management Board of Song Cau Industrial Cluster invited the Principal of Khanh Vinh Boarding Vocational College for Ethnic Minorities to meet and discuss labor needs with businesses renting land in the industrial park. In addition, to support workers, in March 2024, Song Cau Industrial Cluster completed the investment in construction and put into operation a collective dining hall serving industrial meals with a capacity of 700 meals/shift.

Pham Thanh Phong said that in the last 6 months of the year, Song Cau Industrial Cluster will continue to promote and attract investors in the media and investment promotion conferences inside and outside the province. In the third and fourth quarters of 2024, the industrial cluster will invest in the construction of the following projects: Raw material warehouse 1 (area of 3,600m²), raw material warehouse 2 (area of 1,500m²); gas station; hall with a capacity of 1,000 seats and fire prevention and fighting items of the works. By the end of 2024, Song Cau Industrial Cluster is expected to attract more new secondary investors and achieve an occupancy rate of more than 80%. By 2025, the Management Board will propose a policy to expand Song Cau Industrial Cluster phase 2 by about 35 hectares to the east along National Highway 27C.

Le Huu Hoang - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee: Song Cau Industrial Cluster is one of 12 industrial clusters in the industrial development plan of Khanh Hoa province until 2025, with a vision to 2035. Song Cau Industrial Cluster is located right in the agricultural and forestry raw material area with a convenient transportation system that will create conditions for secondary investors to develop inter-regional trade between Khanh Hoa province and the Central Highlands provinces and the key economic regions of the north and south. When implementing the project at Song Cau Industrial Cluster, secondary investors will enjoy many preferential policies on: corporate income tax; exemption and reduction of land use fees, land rent, land use tax; support for rental prices for small and medium enterprises; support for the application of advanced technology transfer machinery and equipment in industrial production - small handicrafts.
