July consumer price index increased by 0.37%

According to Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Statistics, the consumer price index (CPI) in July increased by 0.37% compared to the previous month. The average CPI in the first 7 months increased by 3.71% compared to the same period of the preceding year.

6 of the 11 main groups of goods and services experienced a rise in price indexes, including: food and catering services (0.06%); clothing, hats, and footwear (0.33%); household appliances and equipment (0.02%); transportation (1.87%); culture, entertainment and tourism services (0.05%); other goods and services (6.11%). Housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials price index decreased by 0.22%. The price indexes for beverage services, tobacco, medicine, medical services, post, telecommunications, and education remained constant.
