VIFA SPORT meets European standards

Viet Phap Co., Ltd. (VIFA SPORT) recently organized a ceremony to announce its compliance with European standards for its two product lines: public fitness equipment (complying with EN16630:2015) and outdoor play equipment for children (complying with EN1176:2017). Present at the event were the leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Science and Technology, Center for Industry and Trade Promotion, and Management Board of Dien Phu Industrial Cluster.

This makes VIFA SPORT the first company manufacturing fitness and sports equipment in Vietnam receiving this certificate. Reportedly, VIFA SPORT’s products underwent nearly a year of continuous supervision, revision and evaluation by TÜV Rheinland to meet Europe's strict standards.

As said by Ton That Khiem, general director of TÜV Rheinland in Vietnam, TÜV Rheinland has over 150 years of experience in inspecting, testing, certificating, and training. In addition to its headquarters in Cologne, Germany, TÜV Rheinland has expanded globally with more than 500 offices and laboratories in over 65 countries. Therefore, it is extremely hard to be recognized by TÜV Rheinland.

The EN 16630:2015 and EN 1176:2017 that VIFA SPORT has just achieved are the two European standards, which specify the maximum safety requirements for users of public fitness equipment and outdoor play equipment for children.
