Khanh Hoa Department of Planning and Investment signs memorandum of understanding with Nexif Ratch Energy Group

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Planning and Investment recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Nexif Ratch Energy Group (Nexif Ratch Energy SE Asia Pte. Ltd headquartered in Singapore) on cooperation and support to survey and find investment opportunities for Nexif Energy Khanh Hoa 1 Wind Power Plant project.

The two parties agreed to establish cooperation and support to survey and find investment opportunities. The department will provide guidance and create favorable conditions to implement investment procedures for Nexif Energy Khanh Hoa 1 Wind Power Plant project in accordance with Vietnam law, provided the project meets the conditions for investment policy approval and Nexif Ratch Energy Group is selected as the project investor. The project is expected to have a total investment of approximately VND3,200 billion and will be located in Khanh Son District and Cam Lam District.

The signing aims to support the enterprise in proposing the investment of the wind power plant with an installed capacity of approximately 102MW, expected to produce 312,500MWh/year of electricity to supply clean energy to the national grid. The investment and construction of the project will promote socio-economic development, create jobs to support local social welfare, and generate revenue for the provincial budget. Additionally, the project will contribute to enhancing the critical power supply needed to meet the Government’s goal of ensuring security of electricity supply.

According to Cyril Dissescou, CEO of Nexif Ratch Energy, the company initiated the development of wind power in Khanh Hoa Province from January 2022 to March 2023. The recently signed memorandum of understanding officially established Nexif Ratch Energy’s partnership to accelerate the licensing process for Nexif Energy Khanh Hoa 1 Wind Power Plant project.
