Recently, rural industrial establishments in Khanh Hoa province have been supported by the State in many forms. However, there are still many enterprises that need support from industrial promotion sources at all levels to develop.
Many support programs
Implementing the National Industrial Promotion Program and the local annual industrial promotion plan, for the period 2021 - 2025, the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion has spent more than 15 billion VND to support industrial establishments, handicrafts in rural areas to develop production and business.
Of which, more than VND 5 billion was allocated to support 37 rural industrial establishments to expand factories, invest in machinery and production lines to increase output and improve product quality, meeting today's requirements of domestic consumers and export. At the same time, the center also actively implements industrial promotion projects, promoting support for industrial and handicraft establishments to apply advanced science and technology into production processes to improve quality; organize training classes and conferences to improve management and administration capacity, help rural industrial and handicraft establishments to be competitive, gradually expand the market, and create jobs for a part of labor in localities. From there, it contributes to accelerating the process of economic restructuring towards the development of industry, handicrafts and new rural construction program in districts and towns in the province.

Vo Dinh Thoai - Deputy Director in charge of the Provincial Center for Industrial and Trade Promotion said that in 2024, the center will focus on improving management capacity for industrial establishments, supporting the application of machinery and advanced equipment in production, developing typical rural industrial products to help businesses and rural industrial establishments participate in regional and typical rural industrial product elections at regional and national level. In addition, the center has provided training for officials working in industrial promotion in districts, towns and cities to improve their professionalism, improve the development of industrial promotion projects, and improve the quality of consultation for People's Committees of districts and towns to develop annual industrial promotion plans.
Momentum from many sides
From industrial promotion activities, in recent times, many rural businesses have benefited from projects to support machinery investment and improve production and business activities. In particular, in the context of fierce market competition, rural industrial production facilities are supported in many fields to improve product quality to meet market needs.
Nguyen Thi Phuong - Head of Administration and Human Resources Department of Vinh Phuoc Handicraft Export Cooperative said: "Currently the cooperative is being guided by the Center for Industrial and Trade Promotion of Khanh Hoa province to complete the application. to benefit about 300 million VND in industrial promotion funding. When supported, we will match additional capital of 700 million VND to invest in machinery, technology, improve production capacity, meet large orders from domestic export companies, and help workers. and idle workers in localities have year-round jobs, increasing their source of income. With support from industrial promotion capital, our production facility will certainly have positive changes in production and product development."

Although there have been many businesses that have benefited from industrial promotion policies, the current reality is that most industrial and handicraft establishments in localities in the province have small production scale and use equipment. application is not consistent, the added value of the product is low; lack of capital, lack of human resources, lack of suitable premises to expand production and increase product value, so support from the State is needed. Meanwhile, the annual funding source to support rural industry from the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion is limited, so there are still many rural industrial establishments facing difficulties in production and business.
Nguyen Sanh Duong - Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade said that the need for support from rural industrial enterprises is really great. However, because industrial promotion funding is limited, it is still not possible to support all production facilities in need of assistance. Therefore, in addition to support from the State, rural industrial facility owners must quickly seize opportunities, take advantage of resources, regularly update new knowledge, and business management skills to proactively improve or innovate machinery, apply advanced equipment to all stages of the production process, ensure high quality products, meet the requirements and criteria of domestic consumers and the foreign markets. In addition, industrial establishments and rural handicrafts should have adaptive and appropriate investments for each stage, strengthening business links and cooperation to create new products that are both valuable to increase and develop production chains and value chains, moving to higher levels in the regional and global value chains.
