Khanh Hoa has 23 zones for developing high-tech off-shore aquaculture

Khanh Hoa Province has 23 high-tech off-shore aquaculture zones, of which 15 zones are located in the sea area extending up to 3 nautical miles, 8 zones are located in the sea area extending from 3 to 6 nautical miles, according to the decision approved by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

The zones within 3 nautical miles have a total area of approximately 1,444 hectares, including 10 zones covering nearly 1,165 hectares in Van Ninh District; 4 zones covering 266 hectares in Ninh Hoa Town; and 1 zone of 13 hectares in Tri Nguyen in Nha Trang City.

The zones extending from 3 to 6 nautical miles include Hon Cha La (71 hectares); northern Hon Dung (203 hectares); southern Hon Dung (200 hectares); Hon Noi (109 hectares); Dai Lanh (460 hectares); northern Hon Den (174 hectares); Dam Bay (50 hectares); and Bich Dam (6 hectares).
