Khanh Hoa's total seafood output in 4 months reached 44,631 tonnes

Total seafood output in Khanh Hoa Province in the first 4 months of 2025 reached 44,631 tonnes, up by 1.8% over the same period last year. Specifically, exploited seafood output reached more than 39,173 tonnes, up by over 1%; aquaculture output reached nearly 5,458 tonnes, rising by over 7.6% year-on-year.

Khanh Hoa Province is taking strong action against illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in wild-caught seafood sector and actively monitoring aquaculture zones to ensure safeguard against diseases and protect the environment. Besides, Khanh Hoa’s authorities have also promptly instructed localities and aquaculture farmers to align with market demands, relocate aquaculture cages and rafts to designated areas, and promote application of high-tech marine aquaculture.
