Khanh Hoa strives for double-digit economic growth in 2025-2030 period

On July 14, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee issued a resolution on double-digit economic growth for the 2025-2030 period.

The Resolution sets the goal that by 2030, Khanh Hoa Province will have become a centrally-run city - a high growth pole of the country; local people will have a high standard of living; sustained double-digit annual growth including GRDP, budget revenue, per capita income, etc. Besides, Khanh Hoa aspires to be among the 10 provinces and cities with the highest domestic budget revenue and per capita income; among the 10 leading provinces and cities in terms of provincial competitiveness index, administrative reform index, people's satisfaction index, local innovation index, and digital transformation assessment index. The province’s digital economy will contribute 35% to the province's GRDP.

In order to achieve the goal, Khanh Hoa Province will focus on four economic growth drivers: industry, energy, tourism and services, and urban planning and construction with detailed objectives set for each. Concurrently, the province will prioritize breakthroughs in science, technology, and digital transformation; enhance quality and effectiveness of public investment; ensure comprehensive strategic infrastructure development (digital, transport, and industrial zone infrastructure); improve human resource quality, especially high-skilled labor to meet development demands; and accelerate the resolution of stalled, protracted or underperforming projects.
