According to the report of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, since the beginning of the year, the province has converted over 995 hectares of crops, reaching 55.24% of the plan, including nearly 400 hectares of low-yield rice converted to dry-land crops.
The total cultivated area for annual crops has reached over 113,000 hectares, meeting 75.84% of the year's plan and representing a 1.24% increase compared to the same period last year, including over 78,000 hectares of grain crops. The total area for fruit trees has exceeded 26,200 hectares, achieving 101.76% of the annual plan and increasing by 17.28% year-on-year. There are also nearly 11,000 hectares of various perennial industrial crops.
The area of high-tech agricultural land expanded to over 426 hectares, increasing by 81.39% year-on-year. The area for certified organic crops meeting US (USDA-NOP), Japanese (JAS), and European (EU) standards has reached over 5,599 hectares, including crops such as cashews, melons, asparagus, dates, longan, and mangoes.
The province has implemented 36 large-scale rice fields, covering a total area of 5,016.52 hectares, achieving over 97% of the 2025 plan.
