From 2020 to now, many national and provincial key transport projects have been implemented in the province, including major projects that have been completed and put into use, contributing to expanding the development space for the locality such as: The Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway project came into operation in March 2023; by April 2024, the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway project was completed and put into use, officially connecting the expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Khanh Hoa. In April 2025, the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project completed and put into operation more than 70km and is expected to complete the remaining 13km on the occasion of September 2 this year. The Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway project started construction on June 18, 2023, expected to be completed and put into operation in 2027, of which the first 20km of the route will be completed by the end of this year under the direction of the Prime Minister. The Northern Road Project of Ninh Thuan Province (section from Khanh Nhon Pass to National Highway 1) with a length of 10.42km, total investment of more than 487 billion VND, was completed and put into use from April 2025, connecting National Highway 1 with the coastal axis, facilitating tourism development. The Van Lam - Son Hai Road project connecting National Highway 1 with the coastal road section of Phu Tho - Mui Dinh with a length of more than 13km has been completed, accepted and put into use. This route conveniently connects with the coastal tourism area and the southern key economic zone and the future Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant Project.

According to the leader of the Department of Construction, the province is currently implementing many key traffic projects with inter-regional connectivity such as: The 57km-long Khanh Vinh - Khanh Son Inter-regional Traffic Project with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND; The coastal road project from Van Luong commune, Van Ninh district to Ninh Hoa town is 20.5km long with a total investment of more than 2,000 billion VND... These projects are expected to be completed and put into use in 2027, expected to strengthen regional connectivity, contributing to promoting socio-economic development. The road project connecting Anh Dung commune to Ta Nang intersection (Lam Dong province) is also being accelerated to soon connect the regions from the Southern Central Highlands to Ca Na General Seaport. Recently, Project Management Board 85 has started construction of the Phuoc Ha intersection on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway project. It is expected that by the end of this year, this intersection will be completed, seamlessly connecting the expressway with National Highway 1 and Ca Na General Seaport, creating favorable conditions for logistics and import-export development. Nguyen Van Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction said that from now until 2030, Khanh Hoa will be allocated tens of thousands of billions of VND to invest in routes, complete interconnections, inter-regional connections, creating a synchronous transport system, connecting roads with railways, airways, etc. Promoting investment in completing transport infrastructure plays a key role, is the driving force to attract investors, ensure security, national defense, promote economic development and ensure people can travel conveniently and safely.
