Khanh Hoa Province’s Department of Fisheries, Sea and Islands has licensed 2 businesses to invest in marine aquaculture in the province.

Specifically, NABIO Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Nha Trang Ward) is licensed to farm groupers, golden pompanos, cobias, barramundi, Pacific oysters, and cottonii in an area of 5 hectares of water surface in Bai Giong area (Dong Ninh Hoa Ward). G.GROUP Urban Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (Nam Nha Trang Ward) is licensed to farm Pacific oysters on a 5-hectare water surface area in Dam Bay area (Nha Trang Ward).

In addition to these 2 businesses, the Department of Fisheries, Sea and Islands has also issued 17 licenses for marine aquaculture allowing individuals to invest in high-tech marine aquaculture in the province, with 1,000 m2/individual.
