On October 20, Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company (located in Cam Linh Ward) held a ceremony to mark the handling of the 3 millionth tonne of cargo passing through Cam Ranh Port in 2025. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the event.

By September 30, the port received 653 ship arrivals, 16 of which were international vessels. Revenue for the first 9 months of 2025 reached VND176 billion, a 36% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue is projected to maintain a 36% growth rate compared to the same period in 2024 by year-end. Cargo output has now reached 3 million tonnes, up by 51% over the same period in 2024, exceeding the entire year's plan for 2025. The projected output by the end of 2025 is 3.7 million tonnes, increasing by 53% compared to the previous year.
This was the first time Cam Ranh Port has reached the milestone of handling 3 million tonnes of cargo in a year.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Khac Toan, requested that Cam Ranh Port continue to maintain its growth in the coming period, striving to reach the 4 million tonnes of cargo milestone in 2025 and affirming its position as the key sea port in the south central coastal region. The Provincial People's Committee pledged continuous support and resolving challenges concerning investment procedures, land use and connecting transportation infrastructure to ensure favorable development for Cam Ranh Port.
