On June 27, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Son District (Khanh Hoa) solemnly commemorated the district's 55 years of liberation and 30 years of re-establishment. Attending the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council together with leaders of departments, industries and leaders of Khanh Son District over periods.
On June 27, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Son District (Khanh Hoa) solemnly commemorated the district’s 55 years of liberation and 30 years of re-establishment. Attending the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council together with leaders of departments, industries and leaders of Khanh Son District over periods.
During the resistance war against the US, Khanh Son District was the forefront of the self-liberation movement. In 1985, Khanh Son District was formally separated from Cam Ranh District.
Khanh Son District has seven communes and one town with a natural area of 33,802 ha. Nowadays, the district has had many positive changes compared to the early time of re-establishment. At the end of 2014, the poor households in the district were reduced to 17%.
On this occasion, Khanh Son District was awarded the third-class Labor Medal.
