National Festival for Children's Houses opens in Nha Trang

The Central Council of Young Pioneer Organization in association with Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee opened the sixth National Festival for Children's Houses at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang City) on June 28. Present at the opening ceremony were Le Quoc Phong, Alternate Member of the Central Party Committee , First Secretary of Youth Union Central Committee; Nguyen Long Hai, Secretary of Youth Union Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneer Organization, festival's Steering Committee Head; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; Nguyen Dac Tai, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

The national festival for children’s houses is organized every five years. In the first organization in Khanh Hoa (June 28-30), the festival draws the attendance of more than 3,500 representatives and children from 59 provinces and cities over the country.

Beside the items of the children’s houses, the festival’s opening night also featured the performances of Hong Minh and Tien Quang, winner and runner-up of the Voice Kids of Vietnam 2015, respectively.

Also at the opening ceremony, the Central Council of Young Pioneer Organization offered the scholarship worth VND100 million to the needy children who have exerted to overcome difficulties in Khanh Hoa Province.
