On April 19, in Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in association with Khanh Vinh District People’s Committee opened the Cultural Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council, and Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, attended the event.
The event takes place in April 19-20 with the participation of over 400 artisans, performers and sports athletes of the ethnic communities in some localities in the province.
The 2017 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups’ Cultural Day in Khanh Hoa includes traditional costume and traditional music show, sports competitions, exhibition, contest on traditional dishes, representation of river wharf of E de people, ceremony to honor good people and good deeds.
