Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2017 opens

The 2017 Sea Festival of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa officially opened at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang on June 10.

 

 

Attending the ceremony were Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Party Central Committee Member, Vice State President; Vu Duc Dam, Party Central Committee Member, Deputy Prime Minister; leaders of the ministries and central departments; leaders of other provinces; international delegations. The leaders of Khanh Hoa attending the ceremony included Le Thanh Quang, Party Central Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; together with Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and so on.

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam highly appreciated the economic and tourism potential of Khanh Hoa. The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed hope that Khanh Hoa will promote the advantages of nature and traditional cultural characteristics in order to become an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists.

 

The opening ceremony was broadcast live on VTV1, KTV and some local stations of other provinces. The ceremony featured the performances of some Vietnamese artists and singers (songwriter Le Minh Son, singer Kasim Hoang Vu, singer Thuy Van, singer Noo Phuoc Thinh, May Trang girl group), hundreds of performers, and some art groups and artists from Spain, South Korea, Australia, and France, etc.

 

Themed “Welcome tourists with open arms”, the 2017 Sea Festival of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa includes nearly 50 activities of culture, sports, and tourism.
