At the meeting, Nguyen Dac Tai highly appreciated the efforts of the Organizing Committee of Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and hoped that Nha Trang will continue to be the venue of this pageant in the future.

In 2017, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa was the venue of many significant political, economic and cultural events at the national level and international level. The successful organization of the finale of Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 is considered as a positive start for 2018.
2018 also marks the 10th year since Miss Universe 2008 was organized in Nha Trang. On this occasion, Nguyen Dac Tai expressed the hope that Paula Shugart, Chairman of Miss Universe, will consider organizing Miss Universe in Nha Trang once again.

Reportedly, after being crowned, on January 7, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and the two runners-up visited Thanh Son Pagoda (Cam Hai Dong Commune, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa) which is providing a loving, caring home to 47 orphans and 11 elderly people.
