Present at the videoconference were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; members of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee; leaders of provincial departments; historical witnesses; Youth Union members, armed force, locals and tourists.
The videoconference took place at four locations, including Nha Trang City, Dien Khanh District, Ninh Hoa Town, and Spratly Town (Spratly Island District).
At the videoconference, the attendees reviewed the significant events of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1968 taking place in Nha Trang, Dien Khanh District, Ninh Hoa Town through the stories shared by the historical witnesses.
The videoconference also included the talks between people in the mainland with their relatives who are living and working on the Spratly Islands; music items performed by Hai Dang Song and Dance Troop.
At the event, Le Thanh Quang offered New Year wishes to the attendees, locals, Khanh Hoa people who are living and working overseas, people living on the Spratly Island District.
