Balloons and “lộc xuân” (spring buds) were sold on many streets. The lantern street in front of Thai Nguyen Junior High School was still bustling over Lunar New Year’s Eve. This year, the spring flowers were sold out pretty soon. Until around 10pm, most of the spring flowers displayed on the streets at the city’s center were sold out.
