Reportedly, this lotus field belongs to the family of Cao Tien Dung. Dung and his siblings started this lotus plantation more than eight years ago. This is the most bumper crop they have had since then.
The fresh lotus seeds (still in lotus seed heads) are being sold at a higher price (VND20,000 per kilogram) compared to the last season (VND8,000 per kilogram) due to poor crop in some localities.
There have been many people, especially young ones, visiting this lotus field to pose for photographs. Some couples have chosen this location to take wedding photographs.
