The 39th National Television Festival 2019 opened in Nha Trang at Khanh Hoa Provincial Conference Center on December 11. Attending the opening ceremony were Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education; Tran Binh Minh, CPV Central Committee member, General Director of the Vietnam Television; Nguyen Khac Dinh, CPV Central Committee member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Dac Tai, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Ho Van Mung, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Propaganda and Training; and more than 1,000 representatives from the televisions and media companies across the country.
The 60-minute-long ceremony featured some reportages about the national television festival and elaborate music performances. Reportedly, nearly 500 entries of nine categories from over 100 televisions and media companies throughout Vietnam have been sent to the 39th National Television Festival.
