Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee organized the opening ceremony of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2021 at Yen Phi Park and Children’s Park on February 4. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; and leaderships of the provincial departments and agencies took part in the ceremony.
The festival is jointly organized by Nha Trang City People’s Committee and the provincial Ornamental Creature Association annually on Tet occasion. This year, the festival runs from February 4 to 16, 2021 (lunar December 23, 2020 to lunar January 5, 2021).
The festival includes the display of nearly 700 ornamental trees and flowers; decorations with the theme of Vietnam’s villages, Khanh Hoa’s Whale Worshipping Ceremony and Cai River, and buffalo, the zodiac animal of 2021. Besides, there is a contest for 200 works of ornamental trees and red-whiskered bulbul.
