Nha Trang City’s Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization recently held “Exchanging trash for plants” program at Phuong Son Primary School.

757 pupils of Phuong Son Primary School took part in the program, exchanging trash (used papers, beer cans, plastic things) or old publications for ornamental plants.

Within the framework of the program, the organization committee provided the pupils with information to raise their awareness of environmental protection.  On this occasion, the city’s Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization offered ten scholarships to the disadvantaged pupils of the school.

This was the first “Exchanging trash for plants” program of Nha Trang City’s Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization. It is expected to be launched among the schools’ young pioneer organizations over the city.
