This is part of the province’s plan to vaccinate adolescents from 12 to 17 years old with the target of vaccinating 100% of the aforementioned adolescents with two doses by the end of 2021.
The vaccine administered to the adolescents is Comirnaty of Pfizer-BioNtech approved by the Ministry of Health. The first dose and second dose of the vaccine are administered 3 to 4 weeks apart. According to statistics, there are 128,449 adolescents aged 12-17 in the province, of which 113,774 are studying at schools; 14,675 children in the community. About 282,600 doses will be administered in this campaign.
