Khanh Hoa Province on November 26 morning administered COVID-19 vaccine to junior high school students from seventh to ninth grade in the province. More than 7,640 students of 15 junior high schools were vaccinated.
The vaccination is scheduled to be implemented from November 26 to 28 for the students from seventh to ninth grade of 109 junior high schools in the province. The vaccine administered to the students is Comirnaty of Pfizer-BioNtech approved by the Ministry of Health. Two doses of the vaccine will be administered to the students; the second dose is three to four weeks after the first dose.
The vaccinated students are provided COVID-19 vaccine certificates. This is a part of the plan of the provincial People’s Committee to vaccinate children from 12 to 17 years old with the target of vaccinating 100% of the children with two doses by the end of 2021.
The vaccination is implemented at schools. In this vaccination campaign, the high school students, who weren’t vaccinated in the previous campaign, are also vaccinated.
Reportedly, Khanh Hoa has more than 57,500 junior high school students.
