Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports and Khanh Vinh District People's Committee jointly held the opening ceremony of the 2022 Vietnam Ethnic Groups’ Cultural Day at Khanh Vinh District Center of Culture, Information and Sports on April 15. Present at the ceremony were Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and the leaderships of provincial departments, agencies and localities.
The opening ceremony included music performances bearing the cultural features of the ethnic groups in the province. At the event, Dinh Van Thieu gave certificates of merit of the provincial People's Committee to the examples of good people and good deeds of the ethnic groups.
The 2022 Vietnam Ethnic Groups’ Cultural Day in Khanh Hoa took place in April 15 and 16 with the participation of more than 400 artisans, actors and players from eight localities in the province. Numerous activities were held within the framework of the event, such as sports contest, music and fashion show, contest on typical products and specialties, propaganda car decoration contest, photo exhibition about life and culture of the ethnic groups, and screening of film about ethnic groups.
