Although being established in 2020, Nha Trang Dolphins based in Nha Trang City, hadn’t had a chance to debut in front of home spectators due to Covid-19. In their 1st match at home ground, Nha Trang Dolphins played against Ho Chi Minh City Wings.

Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; leadership of the province’s sectors of culture and sports and Vietnam Basketball Federation attended the match. A lot of people came to see the debut match of Nha Trang Dolphins.

The hosts Nha Trang Dolphins couldn’t overcome the visitors Ho Chi Minh City Wings and conceded defeat at 63-68. Nha Trang Dolphins have won two out of three matches at the 2022 VBA so far.

Nha Trang Dolphins will play away match with Can Tho Catfish on July 15 and then return to Nha Trang to receive Thang Long Warriors on July 19.
