The awarding ceremony of Kite Awards 2021 took place at Khanh Hoa Provincial Conference Center on September 13 night. Present at the event were Vu Duc Dam, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Hai Ninh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Doan Van Viet, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the members of the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and more than 350 artists from all over the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Tan Tuan said that the awarding ceremony of Kite Awards 2021 was one of the outstanding cultural events in the province in 2022, which has contributed to the promotion of Khanh Hoa's images and stimulation of tourism. He also expressed his hope that Khanh Hoa would continue to be the venue for the awards in the future.
At the ceremony, Vietnam Cinema Association offered Kite Awards 2021 prizes to the most excellent nominations, best directors, best cinematographers, best main painters, best scriptwriters, best music, best art design, best sound, best male and female leads, best male and female supporting actors, promising young actors of each category. Also at the ceremony, the organizers announced the works that won the silver prizes and certificates of merit in each category.
Before the awarding ceremony, the leaderships and delegates attended a kite show, cruise show and red carpet event held at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang).
