Golden Kite Award 2023 in Nha Trang

The award ceremony of the Golden Kite Awards 2023, jointly organized by Vietnam Cinema Association, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee and Vega City Joint Stock Company (KDI Holdings Group), took place at Do Theater (Nha Trang City) on September 9 night. Attending the event were Nguyen Khac Dinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly; Nguyen Hai Ninh - Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Training; Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Ha Quoc Tri - Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; and more than 500 artists, filmmakers, producers, etc. throughout the country.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Nguyen Tan Tuan highly appreciated the Golden Kite Awards 2023 and hoped that artists, actors, and filmmakers will continue to contribute to the cultural industry and promote the images of Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular.

At the award ceremony, Vietnam Cinema Association announced and presented Golden Kite awards to the winners of categories such as feature film, TV series, documentary, science film, animation film, and short film.

In addition, the organization committee announced the winners of Silver Kite awards; individual awards for excellent director, excellent cinematographer, excellent main painter, excellent screenwriter, excellent music, excellent art design, excellent sound, excellent lead actor and actress, excellent supporting actor and actress, promising young actors, and so on.

On this occasion, Vietnam Cinema Association honored and rewarded 11 outstanding individuals who have contributed to the Golden Kite Award since its inception. Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee presented certificates of merit to groups who offered good support in organizing the 2023 Golden Kite Award.

Earlier, the representatives participated in the red carpet event and the inauguration ceremony of the Wall of Fame, the work honoring Golden Kite Awards winners over the years.
