Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2024 opens

Nha Trang City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2024 on February 2 (lunar December 23) night. Present at the ceremony were Ho Van Mung - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa Province; Dinh Van Thieu - Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; and the leaders of some provincial departments, sectors and Nha Trang City.

The 11 edition of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2024 continues to be held at the areas of Yen Phi Park, Children's Park and some sections of Phan Chu Trinh Street, Ngo Quyen Street, Pasteur Street, and Le Loi Street. This is also part of the celebration for 100 years of construction and development of Nha Trang City (1924 - 2024) and 15-year anniversary of Nha Trang City’s recognition as a class I urban area under Khanh Hoa Province (2009 - 2024).

Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2024 is designed with decorations showing typical culture characteristics of in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa; themed ornamental creatures such as dragon, the zodiac animal of 2024; stalls of ornamental plants and flowers, souvenirs, and typical products of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa. In addition, the festival displays over 668 works of flowers and ornamental plants and 332 entries for the contest on ornamental things and red-whiskered bulbuls of the artisans in and outside the province.

At the opening ceremony, Nha Trang City presented prizes of the art photo contest about Nha Trang City to the photographers with excellent works. 

The festival ends on February 14 (lunar January 5).
