Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 opens

Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 opened at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang City) on June 13. Present at the festival were Nguyen Hai Ninh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Bui Hoai Son - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee of Culture and Education; Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; members of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Standing Committee; Khanh Hoa Province’s former leaders; leaders of central provinces and cities; foreign guests; and sponsors.

Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival takes place from June 13 to 16 under the theme "Nha Trang Pearl Bay brightens" with 200 tourism, service, trade and food stalls. The festival also includes various art, music, tourism and sport events such as “Hipfest Summer 2024” contest, fashion and art program, EDM performance, pedicab parade and Ao Dai performance, parade of flower vehicles and Harley Davidson motorcycles, and Unique Nha Trang Half Marathon.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu said that Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 is part of the strategy to promote Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa’s tourism and boost the development of the province's key economic sector.

The opening ceremony of Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival was broadcast live by Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station and rebroadcast by 30 television stations over the country.

The opening ceremony featured music performances of many domestic singers.

Also at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Hai Nam - Chairman of Khanh Hoa-Saigon Businessmen’s Club presented charity houses and scholarships with a total value of VND815 million to people and poor students in Van Ninh District and Ninh Hoa Town. Thanh Lan (Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang City) gave 60 gifts worth a total of VND120 million to poor and studious students in Dien Khanh District.
