Over 5,000 people take part in Olympic Running Day

The launching ceremony of Olympic Running Day For Public Health – Cross-country Championship 2025 took place at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang on March 23 morning. Present at the event were the leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Nha Trang City People's Committee.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee reviewed the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day and the day Uncle Ho wrote the article namely Physical exercise and health to encourage Vietnamese people to do physical exercise (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025); and launched sports movements among the public.

Following the launching ceremony, 5,000 people, who are officials, employees of units, Youth Union members, students of high schools, colleges, universities, academies, etc. in Nha Trang City, ran 1km run along Tran Phu Street.

On this occasion, Nha Trang City People's Committee organized the city Cross-Country Championship 2025, joined by 80 male and female runners from wards, communes and schools in the city in men's 4km and women's 2km.
