Khanh Hoa celebrates Vietnamese Ethnic Groups' Culture Day

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in association with Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee celebrated the 2025 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups' Culture Day (April 19) on April 16. Attending the event were Dinh Van Thieu,  Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a some provincial departments, sectors, and localities; and more than 400 artisans, actors, and athletes from 8 districts, towns, and cities in the province.

The 2025 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups' Culture Day in Khanh Hoa Province was celebrated with activities such as traditional sports competition, music and fashion show;  photo exhibition on ethnic groups’ cultural features; honoring examples that have contributed to the implementation of policies on national culture.

In 2008, the Prime Minister issued a decision selecting April 19 as Vietnamese Ethnic Groups' Culture Day to honor the cultural identity of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Khanh Hoa Province is currently home to 36 ethnic groups living in solidarity and supporting each other.

At the end of the event, the organizing committee gave first prize in sports event to Khanh Son District and first prize in music and fashion event to Ninh Hoa Town.
