Ponagar Temple Festival 2025 opened at Ponagar Temple national special monument (Nha Trang City) on April 17 (lunar March 20). Present at the opening ceremony were Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies; Le Huu Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Khanh Hoa; leaders of some provincial departments, sectors and localities.

Ponagar Temple Festival 2025 takes place from April 17 to 20 (lunar March 20-23).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dinh Van Thieu - Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee, highlighted the value, meaning and importance of Ponagar Temple Festival to the people in Khanh Hoa Province as well as other provinces and cities nationwide.

Ponagar Temple Festival is held annually to commemorate the merits of Goddess Po Nagar - Mother of the Cham people, also Holy Mother Thien Y A Na of Vietnamese people. In 2012, Ponagar Temple Festival was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage.

This year's Ponagar Temple Festival has had more than 100 groups of pilgrims practicing Mother Goddess worship registered with the Organizing Committee. In addition, there are also tens of thousands of people and tourists attending the Po Nagar Tower Special National Monument during the festival.

As reported, more than 100 groups of pilgrims have registered to join Ponagar Temple Festival 2025 and tens of thousands of people are expected to visit Ponagar Temple during the festival.
