The close cooperation between public and non-public health facilities over the past time has promoted the effectiveness of medical examination and treatment in Khanh Hoa.

Specifically, the inter-hospital red alert mechanism has saved many critical cases; provided support in training to improve professional competence in emergencies such as natural disasters, epidemics, mass food poisoning, traffic accidents, etc. In addition, non-public health facilities have given more choices in health care services.

Under the authorities’ stringent supervision and management, private medical facilities are operating efficiently, meeting a variety of medical needs. Most private medical facilities have developed insured health care services, contributing to promoting the community participation in public health and well-being care.
