Project on new Khanh Hoa General Hospital to be developed

Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee presided over a meeting on  a project on new Khanh Hoa General Hospital on April 17.

According to the report by Khanh Hoa Department of Health, Khanh Hoa General Hospital with 1,500 beds is expected to be re-built on an 11ha area in Vinh Thai Commune, Nha Trang City. The project is estimated at VND5,500 billion. When the adjusted master plan of Nha Trang City till 2040 is approved by the Prime Minister, Nha Trang City will adjust the land use planning in this area for medical purpose.

The ground-breaking ceremony for Khanh Hoa General Hospital is expected to take place in October 2023 and the construction is due to finish in January 2027. When allocated the capital, Khanh Hoa Department of Health will start the bidding process.
