The April 30 victory is in the hearts and minds of Vietnamese people as it marked a sacred moment for gloriously ending the war against invaders for national peace and independence.
The Great Spring victory 1975, notably the Ho Chi Minh campaign, gloriously put an end to the resistance war against the American imperialists for national liberation, proving the art of enhancing congregated strength of the unanimity, consensus and the determination of Vietnamese army and people, reminding us of the devotion of our ancestors to the independence, liberty and achievements in the present.
That great victory resulted from the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the beloved President Ho Chi Minh with brilliant revolutionary guidelines. As stated in a political report of the Central Party Executive Committee at the 4th Communist Party Congress, “Time flies but our people’s victory in the cause of anti-American Resistance to save our country remains one of the brightest pages in our national history, a radiant symbol of the victory of the revolutionary heroism and intelligence which enters the world history as a brilliant feat of arms in the 20th century, an event of great international significance and profound contemporary meaning.”
Ho Chi Minh said, “Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty”. The spiritual lesson of the April 30 victory, especially the tradition of patriotism and solidarity, makes up the strength for the Vietnamese people to overcome all difficulties and challenges to build the country "more dignified and more beautiful". General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said, “Our country has never had such international prestige, potentials and position as it does today.”
Since the Independence Day, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Party Committee and people of Khanh Hoa Province have continued promoting the strength of solidarity, dynamism and creativity. With flexible policies, the province has mobilized resources, exploited potentials and strengths, gradually bringing Khanh Hoa to reach new heights and gain important achievements in all economic, social and cultural sectors. In recent years, Khanh Hoa has made breakthrough progress, becoming an attractive destination for investors. Especially, in 2022, Khanh Hoa was given great opportunities when the Central Government issued many important resolutions on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province, a considerable stimulus for Khanh Hoa to reach the goal of becoming a centrally-governed city by 2030.
In these historic April days, the Party Committee, authorities and people in the province successfully held the 370th anniversary of construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province; and a conference on master plan announcement and investment promotion in Khanh Hoa Province, attracting VND116,500 billion. Also in April, the PCI, PAPI and administrative reform indexes increased dramatically. These are good signs, showing the efforts and determination of the whole political system to reach the goal.
In celebration of the 48th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification in Vietnam, all Vietnamese people are happy and proud of achievements ever gained. The immortal spirit of the historic victory on April 30 is also the driving force, arousing the aspiration for everyone in Khanh Hoa to strive, unite, and join hands to contribute to making Khanh Hoa more intensively developed and prosperous in the future.
