Free eye care for the disadvantaged

Nha Trang Eye Hospital jointly with Pacific Ocean University and Ninh Tay Commune held Green summer campaign, providing eye examination, consultancy and medicines free of charge for residents in Ninh Tay Commune, Ninh Hoa Town on July 9.

Nearly 200 residents in Ninh Tay Commune had eye screening and received medicines; and eye care advice from Nha Trang Eye Hospital physicians. In addition, the hospital and the university also offered 60 gifts to students. The charity activity was worth nearly VND20 million.

In the coming time, Saigon Nha Trang Eye Hospital will continue cooperating with universities in the province to take medical volunteer trips to reach more people in need.
