Poverty eradication measures synchronously taken

Poverty eradication measures have been effectively taken in Khanh Vinh District over years, contributing to improving local living standards and reducing poverty rate in the district.

Efforts to escape poverty

Depending on a 1.4ha mountain field, the 9-member family of Cao Hoai Nghinh in Suoi Ca, Khanh Trung Commune, Khanh Vinh District used to be struggling to make ends meet. Since the use of 1.7ha of agricultural land allocated for growing Acacia trees and lowland rice combined with raising cattle, the family’s income has much improved. Gradually out of poverty, they have owned a new spacious house with better life prospects.

The family of Dong Van Dung, Duong Thi Hoa in Ta Mo Village, Khanh Thanh Commune have pulled themselves from poverty with the cultivation of Acacia trees. They gradually expanded production together with investment in more land for other crops of pomelos and oranges and cattle farming. They have escaped from poverty sustainably with much improvement in their living standard. They have been able to financially support their 2 children at university.
