Towards unique architectures

Over 17 years of operation, Khanh Hoa Provincial Architects’ Association has contributed to supporting the assessment and approval of architectural projects in the province, ensuring the quality of the built environment and the advancement of architecture.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Architects’ Association was founded in 2005 with 75 members who are architects in the province. According to Chairman of the Provincial Architects’ Association Nguyen Hoang, over the years, architectural works in Khanh Hoa have increasingly met aesthetics and quality standards. The association has effectively connected and cooperated with departments, agencies, localities and socio-political organizations. In particular, the Provincial Architects’ Association together with the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, has made considerable contributions in such fields as urban planning; prefeasibility study and social criticism related to architectural construction and planning.

Recently, the Provincial Architects’ Association has successfully organized a competition to select landscape architecture design for Children's House in Khanh Hoa Province and the branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. Winning the trust of the Provincial People's Committee and Nha Trang City People's Committee, the association is presiding over the organization of competitions to select architectural designs of some key projects of the province and Nha Trang City for the Provincial Party Committee, Delegation of National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Nha Trang City Administration Center, Truong Sa Museum, Provincial General Hospital, etc.

According to Nguyen Hoang, in the coming time, the Provincial Architects’ Association will make continued efforts committed to sustainable development with unique features deeply bearing cultural characters and modern and green urbanism. The  Architects’ Association will also continue getting engaged in providing architectural planning consultancy and criticism for local authorities; developing clubs of young architects; strengthening professional activities and developing membership of the association; effectively connecting and cooperating with businesses, investors, social organizations, etc.
