41 projects compete in rural youth start-up contest

On August 23, in Nha Trang City, the Central Youth Union held the semi-final round of the contest "Rural Youth Startup Project in 2023" in the Central region.

The contest drew thousands of entries, including more than 440 startup projects selected and sent to the Central Committee of the Youth Union.

41 projects advanced to the semi-final round in the Central region. Khanh Hoa had 1 start-up project namely "Community Tourism Development in traditional craft villages in Nha Trang City" by students from the Faculty of Tourism & Commerce of Nha Trang College of Technology.

The final round is expected to take place in Soc Trang Province this October.

The contest is designed to inspire business start-up among rural young people; and promote the role of the youth in economic development and participation in agricultural restructuring.
