"Loving and affectionate" Moon Festival for kids

Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum has held "Loving and affectionate" Moon Festival for kids from orphanages and ethnic minority communities thanks to much support of businesses and individuals.  

"Loving and affectionate" Moon Festival was filled with great fun and excitement for nearly 200 kids to enjoy, playing folk games, running around, talking and laughing. “Joining the Moon Festival at Khanh Hoa Museum, we can meet and have fun playing games with many others. We can also see artifacts displayed in the museum. I will remember the special day forever,” said Nguyen Thi Hoai, Duc Ba Orphanage, Cam An Nam Commune, Cam Lam District.

Bo Bo Thi Minh Thi, Class 5/6, Cam Phuoc Dong 1 Primary School, Cam Phuoc Dong Commune, Cam Ranh City) said, "This is my first time at such an exciting Moon Festival. My friends and I enjoyed the great view of Nha Trang Beach, tasted delicious food, received beautiful gifts and played fun games together."

The main activity began at night with musical performances, singing and dancing shows by students, volunteers as well as kids from art clubs in Nha Trang City. The program was also amazing with unicorn dance, kids having fun playing games on the stage and enjoying the moon night feast.

“Nearly 100 school children are invited to take part in the "Loving and affectionate" Moon Festival at Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum. Thanks to the concern and support of the community, the kids have joyful and warm activities,” said Truong Huynh Nhu Thu, a teacher at Cam Phuoc Dong Primary School 1.

Khanh Hoa Museum has received much support from organizations and individuals for the Moon Festival celebration with the hope to bring meaningful spiritual gifts to kids on the coming Moon Festival.

According to Nguyen Thanh Phong, Director of the Provincial Museum, this is the second consecutive year the museum has organized the "Loving and affectionate" Moon Festival for ethnic minority children from orphanages in the province. Committed to providing community space of humanitarian values, in recent times, Khanh Hoa Museum has made efforts to connect with businesses and benefactors to join hands for the sake of the less fortunate.
