“New clothes to school” program for kids in remote mountainous areas

A "New Clothes to School" program was held by HOP9 Zumba Nha Trang Center and Melody of Life jointly with other organizations, giving many gifts to kids at Khanh Thuong Primary School in Khanh Thuong Commune, Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Hoa Province on September 9.

Gifts of new clothes are given to kids.

The organizing board donated 100 gifts, containing 100 school bags, study items, moon cakes, milk, 200 book titles, etc. to pupils. The gifts were worth nearly VND24 million in total.

Chau Linh Dai, a member of HOP9 Zumba Nha Trang Center said, “In order to bring meaningful gifts to kids on the back-to-school occasion, we have mobilized donations for over 1 month. We hope our gifts will bring joy during the start of the new school year and the coming Moon Festival, as well as help inspire them to greater efforts in study and life.”

Truong Thi Yen, Vice-Principal of Khanh Thuong Primary School said, "This is a truly meaningful gift for kids in mountainous areas. After school, they can read books to improve their knowledge as well as enhance self-study skills. Reading opens doors to the world and provides them access to valuable knowledge."

 “I received a new school bag and many other things. We are all very excited to go to school and we love school more. We are so grateful,” said Pi Nang Thi Ji Un, a 3rd grade pupil.

Joining the charity activity for 1 month, Vu Duc Hop, a young member of the charity group is growing his willingness to give out help with kindness. Our group’s motto is “Giving and sharing for the better as long as our heart is still beating”.
