Promoting cooperation with Almaty City, Kazakhstan

A high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly led by Nguyen Khac Dinh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly paid a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan on September  24 to 28.

Within the framework of the working trip, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh had talks with Speaker of the Lower House of Kazakhstan’s Parliament Erlan Zhakanovich Koshanov and Speaker of the Senate Ashimbayev Maulen Sagathanuly. He also had meetings with Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of Kazakhstan’s Parliament Albert Rau and Deputy Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan Zhakip Asanov, as well as Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, and Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of Kazakhstan Askhat Zhumagali. The delegation also met officials at the Vietnamese Embassy in Kazakhstan and representatives from the Vietnamese community in the country and visited Almaty City.

At the working session with Almaty City authority, Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa expressed the hope that the cooperation between the governments, businesses and people of Almaty City and Khanh Hoa Province will be strengthened in areas of mutual strengths, especially in exporting agricultural products, garments, tourism, etc.

Arman Kyrykbayev, Vice-Mayor of Almaty City promised to make efforts to provide a link for the cooperation promotion of the 2 localities.
