VND50m donated to charity kitchen

Khanh Hoa Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Poor Patients and Children’s Rights donated VND50 million to the charity hospital of Khanh Hoa General Hospital on September 14.

Khanh Hoa Rehabilitation Education Center for Disabled Children will present 100 scholarships and celebrate Mid-autumn for orphans, disabled people and poor children in some communes of Cam Lam District with a total cost of VND110 million on September 17.

In the first 6 months of the year, the hospital in coordination with organizations and individuals offered grants worth more than VND2.3 billion to over 5,470 poor patients; nearly 5,120 gifts, containing milk, bird's nest drink and candies worth more than VND356 million; covered fees totaling VND65.6 million for hospital transfer, discharge or palliative transport.

The hospital also received support from 21 organizations and individuals donating medical equipment, including electric syringes, hypothermia machines, cleft lip and palate surgery kits, televisions, etc. totaling VND3 billion.
