Firefighting and rescue sporting competition 2023 to take place Oct.30 and 31

Khanh Hoa Firefighting and Rescue Sporting Competition 2023 is going to take place in Nha Trang City soon on October 30 and  31.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee promulgated Plan No. 9193 on the provincial Firefighting and Rescue Sporting Competition 2023 on September 12.

This year event has 37 teams from localities, agencies, businesses and fire fighting and rescue forces. The competition includes fire fighting-related challenges and exercises specialized for specific groups of teams such as fire fighting and life-saving, fire suppression performance, rescue swimming and so on.

This year's contest is held on a larger scale than in previous years with the participation of more participating teams from agencies, organizations and businesses throughout the province. The preparation for the event directed by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and the Competition Organizing Board (established by the Provincial People's Committee) has been basically completed.

The competition is designed to raise the roles and responsibilities of agencies, sectors and people for fire prevention and control to effectively and promptly prepare for and respond to emergencies; evaluate fire fighting skills as well as provide an opportunity to improve firefighting and rescue skills, contributing to the national construction and protection in the new situation.

The participating teams are required to respect and strictly comply with the program, terms and rules issued by the competition organizing board in the spirit of equality with the demonstration of honesty and integrity; and efforts to pursue excellence and gain high achievements; and ensure absolute safety in practice and competition.
