Implementing rehabilitation system development program

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the Rehabilitation System Development Program for the period 2023-2030, with a vision to 2050 in the Khanh Hoa Province. The beneficiaries are those with disabilities and in need of rehabilitation in the province.

The plan's goals include that till 2023, 50% of provincial general hospitals have independent rehabilitation departments; 50% of provincial specialized hospitals have integrated rehabilitation departments and 80% of district and town medical centers have integrated rehabilitation service together with ensuring more than 90% of rehabilitation facilities are maintained and improved; more than 90% of children under 6 are provided early detection and early intervention for disabilities; 100% of districts and towns will implement community-based rehabilitation models and so on.

According to the vision to 2050, the rehabilitation service will be developed at public and non-public medical facilities with a diversity of intervention methods, ensuring quality comprehensive rehabilitation; community-based rehabilitation will be promoted, etc.
