Flood response measures taken to ensure safety

According to the Southern & Central Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected to continue across Khanh Hoa Province with downpours from now to November 16.

To proactively respond to floods, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested localities to check and implement flood control and rescue plans; take evacuation plans when required in areas at high risk of landslide and update weather forecasts with flood warnings and alerts.

The Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Public Security and rescue units were asked to proactively deploy forces, vehicles and equipment to support localities with flood emergency response.
